Who We Are

With over 20 years of experience, Marie-Eleana First is an attorney in private practice who provides personalized, attentive, and honest legal representation to foreign nationals seeking to work or immigrate to the United States.

Marie-Eleana has represented both performers and artists in a number of immigration and entertainment matters and has successfully obtained artist visas for her clients including the O and P visa categories. Personal involvement in both the immigrant and arts community as both a lawyer and performer, has bought awareness and sensitivity of the special and unique problems that face many immigrants and artists today.

Marie-Eleana is currently a member of the Association of Deportation Defense Attorneys, a member of the New York State Bar Association, and was a former president of the Queens County Bar Association.

Licensed to practice law in the State of New York and admitted to the United States Eastern and Southern District Courts in the State of New York. Marie-Eleana graduated from Brooklyn Law School, J.D., and from The University of Massachusetts Boston, B.A., magna cum laude.
